What is yLink?
yLink is a Translink smartcard which entitles the card holder to special discounted fares on Translink scheduled services within Northern Ireland and cross border.
It is available for all young people between the ages of 16 and 23 years of age (until their 24th birthday).

Please complete this online application in four simple steps if:
a) You want to get a new yLink card for the first time and you have already received a PIN number from Translink.
b) You need a replacement yLink card because your current yLink card is faulty, damaged, lost, stolen or you want to change your name or photo.
Once you have completed this online application you will be asked to buy your yLink card using a debit or credit card.
Your card request and payment will be submitted to Translink who will then send your yLink card to the address you have provided within 7-10 working days.
If you do not have a debit or credit card you can apply for a new yLink card or a replacement card at any main Translink bus or rail station. You will need to complete an application form available at main Translink bus or rail stations and bring along £8.00 cash and proof of age/ID for a new card or £6.00 cash for a replacement card.
